Online links are ready for the 2nd Wednesday Read Your Own Book. Sensuality and the Great Mystery will be uncovered this month. Please bring your deck…and remember, we welcome drop-in graduates! We’ll start at 3:30 pm! I’ll be hot off the plane to share a week’s worth of study with you. I unexpectedly have put together “an intensive” and look forward to bringing back inspiration.
Crystal Healing through Red Tara
Wednesday I’ll see Lama Inge from Spokane, and learn about Crystal Healing as she learned from Chagdud Tulku. Bring a special crystal to class so that we can tap into its essential nature.
Bana Kuma
While in Hawaii I’ll be visiting an old friend who shares knowledge from an ancestor of his, who is about 10,000 years old. Its a fascinating process as well as an interesting abundance of information. We will attend a ‘council’ on Friday night with the ancestor and the community there. See http://banakuma.org/archetypes/ for some thought provoking video!
Ho’oponopono
As you already know I’m an ancient fan of Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona, a Hawaiian Kahuna Lapa’au. This topic is part of our June material but I’ll be in the thick of it when I return so we might get to pre-visit some later chapters, as in October when we explore Right Relationship to Creator/Creation. Also, its another approach to ‘cleaning’ ones field as well – you know, like we dig into clearing chakras etc.? This is another type of clearing protocol.
All of a sudden I found myself in this flow to get it from the horse, and go experiential, instead of just reading about it. My dream has always been to meet Dr Hew Len (his story here … http://rosariomontenegro.hubpages.com/hub/How-Dr-Hew-Len-healed-a-ward-of-mentally-ill-criminals-with-Hooponopono ). Instead, I will be studying with one of his peers and am looking forward to it.
And I never dreamed of going to Hawaii so this is a total surprise…Tibet, Nepal, India, Zimbabwe, or Peru maybe, but never Hawaii. There are several things that came together to save me hundreds of dollars, so spendthrift as I am, can live with myself. As with all of my endeavors I want to swim in the mainstream, and not a tributary, so am going to the islands to be poured into, and tap deep into the rich nature of divine feminine healing spirits there, instead of doing a states-side exploration.
BTW – there are all sorts of people out there sharing Ho’oponopono, like Joe who was mentioned in the link above. I’m afraid its all been over commercialized, but oh well, this is what happens with a good thing. Anyway, if you are interested in some of the meatier pieces of info, this link has more background too: http://www.self-i-dentity-through-hooponopono.com/pdfs/who-english-abridged.pdf . I love the reference therein to Shakespeare’s “fore bemoaned moans”… that is exquisite.
Also, to get another grasp of its essence, check out http://www.realhula.com/kumuWis-PONO.html where they really scratch my itch around this topic! Much lighter reading than the previous link, palpating the sweet savour of the relationship perfection that exists at each moment for all of us, all the time.
It feels like I’ve been practicing this approach to my personal healing for most of my adult life, but, I want to know what the Kahuna says about it, so am excited to be able to do this. I haven’t been to a workshop for myself for a long time either so a little indulgence is in order. I’ll leave you with this poem from Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona.
*”I” Am The “I”*
*OWAU NO KA “I”*
*”I” come forth from the void into light,
Pua mai au mai ka po iloko o ka malamalama,
“I” am the breath that nurtures life,
Owau no ka ha, ka mauli ola,
“I” am that emptiness, that hollowness beyond all consciousness,
Owau no ka poho, ke ka’ele mawaho a’e o no ike apau.
The “I”, the Id, the All.
Ka “I”, Ke Kino Iho, na Mea Apau.
“I” draw my bow of rainbows across the waters,
Ka a’e au “I” ku’u pi’o o na anuenue mawaho a’e o na kai a pau,
The continuum of minds with matters.
Ka ho’omaumau o na mana’o ame na mea a pau.
“I” am the incoming and outgoing of breath,
Owau no ka “Ho” a me ka “Ha”,
The invisible, untouchable breeze,
He huna ka makani nahenahe,
The undefinable atom of creation.
Ka “Hua” huna o Kumulipo.
“I” am the “I”.
Owau no ka “I”.*
